CNV torna públicos documentos entregues pelo governo norte-americano

O Ministério das Relações Exteriores encaminhou à CNV, em 20 de junho de 2014, 43 (quarenta e três) documentos do Departamento de Estado dos Estados Unidos da América, produzidos no período de janeiro de 1967 a dezembro de 1977 e recebidos do governo norte-americano por ocasião da visita ao Brasil do Vice-Presidente Joseph Biden, em junho último.

A fim de dar divulgação, a Comissão Nacional da Verdade torna públicos os documentos recebidos do governo norte-americano. Por fim, a CNV assinala que os documentos disponibilizados foram produzidos com base em dados colhidos por representantes do estado norte-americano e podem conter informações não corroboradas pelas investigações conduzidas por esta Comissão.
